Frequently Asked Questions
Hi, I’m Anita, a passionate 4WDer and the creator of Krawlergrips! I’ve put together answers to some of the most common questions I get from the 4WD community. If you’re curious about anything else, feel free to reach out. I’m always up for a chat about my products or the off-road lifestyle.
What is your turnaround time?
At Krawlergrips, I know how exciting it is to get your new gear, so I work hard to keep things moving quickly. Most orders are handmade and shipped within 7 business days. If something unexpected comes up, I’ll keep you in the loop so you’re never left wondering.
Can I choose my own colors?
Absolutely! Personalization is what makes your rig unique. Just let me know your color preferences in the notes section at checkout, and I’ll braid a product that’s just right for you. It’s all about making your gear reflect your style.
Can you source a color you don’t stock for me?
I’ll do my best to track down the color you’re after. That said, I can’t always guarantee the quality of colors sourced outside my usual suppliers, but I’m happy to try if it’s something special you’re looking for.
Do you only make the products listed on the Krawlergrips website?
Not at all! While the website showcases my core products, I love taking on custom projects. From bracelets to winch pulls and beyond—if you’ve got an idea, let me know. I’m always up for creating something unique to suit your needs.
How do I measure for my grips?
Getting the right fit is super important. Here’s how to measure for your Krawlergrips Grab Handles:
- Measure centre of bolt to centre of bolt on your existing handles.
- Add 3-5cms to ensure there’s enough room for a comfortable grip.
This ensures your handles are a perfect fit for your hands and rig. If you’re unsure, just reach out—I’m happy to help!
Do I need to purchase the JDM washers for my grips?
Nope, they’re optional! Krawlergrips washers and screws are an awesome add-on if you’re after a polished, coordinated look for your rig, but they’re not a necessity. They’re compatible with most standard hardware and add a little extra style to your setup.
Will you make puppy collars for my litter of pups?
As much as I love our furry friends, I can’t make paracord collars for puppies. Here’s why: paracord isn’t safe for puppies to chew on. If a pup chews on a collar and ingests the strands, it can cause serious health issues.
Veterinary advice states:
"We do not recommend paracord collars for puppies, as the strands may be ingested and act as a linear foreign body in your dog’s gastrointestinal tract."
This condition can lead to significant damage to their GI tract. For your pups’ safety, I recommend using alternative materials for collars until they’re older and past their chewing phase.
If you’ve got any other questions or want to chat about your next project, don’t hesitate to reach out. I’m always happy to help you gear up for your next adventure.
See you on the tracks!
